SLCP is a multi-stakeholder initiative designed to replace redundant social audits with a single, verified data collection tool, implemented through the FSLM on the Higg index ecosystem. The system assesses working conditions, wages, working hours, and health and safety without issuing a pass/fail score. The logic is data convergence: by collecting validated, neutral social data once, suppliers can share it with all participating brands. This allows factories to redirect resources away from managing constant audit fatigue and toward actual workplace improvements.
